International Tax
The pandemic has created numerous fiscal challenges for colleges and universities, including a host of issues for institutions with students and employees temporarily unable to return to the U.S. This webcast will cover current tax issues affecting your institution’s students and employees who are currently unable to return to campus due to COVID-19 travel restrictions or closures.
 
Our panel of tax and global operations experts from three universities will address the latest guidance from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on employee tax issues and explain the recent equalization levies imposed by India and Mexico on online education delivered to students in those countries. You’ll also learn about some approaches to managing the tax treatment of employees, including graduate teaching and research assistants who are currently working outside the U.S.
